IDFC FIRST BANK SALARY ACCOUNT
Before you begin, ensure you meet the following requirements:
Employment Status: You must be a salaried employee working with an organization that has a corporate salary relationship with IDFC FIRST Bank.
Salary Criteria:
Classic Plus Salary Account: Monthly salary of ₹25,000 to ₹50,000.
Platinum Plus Salary Account: Monthly salary greater than ₹50,000.
Documents Required:
Aadhaar Number: For identity and address verification.
PAN Number: For tax purposes.
Official Email Address: For communication and account-related notifications.
Navigate to the IDFC FIRST Bank Salary Account page.
Click on the "Open Account Now" button to start the application process.
Choose between the Classic Plus (Salary 25k to 50k) or Platinum Plus ( Salary 50k+) Salary Account, based on your monthly salary.
Fill in your personal information, including:
Full Name
Date of Birth
Gender
Contact Information (Mobile Number and Email Address)
Provide details about your current employment, such as:
Employer Name
Designation
Monthly Salary
Upload the following documents for KYC verification:
Aadhaar Card: For identity and address verification.
PAN Card: For tax purposes.
Ensure that the documents are clear and legible.
After submitting your documents, you'll be prompted to complete a Video KYC process. This involves a live video call with a bank representative who will verify your identity and documents. Original Pan card (Photo copy or soft copy is not allowed and will cause rejection), appointment letter hard copy or ID card to be shown, offer letter will cause rejection.
Carefully review all the information you've provided. Once confirmed, submit your application for processing.
Upon successful verification, your salary account will be activated. You'll receive:
Account Number: For all banking transactions.
Debit Card: For withdrawals and purchases.
Internet Banking Credentials: To manage your account online.
Mobile Banking App Access: For banking on the go.
Zero Balance Requirement: No minimum balance needed as long as your salary is credited regularly.

Once your account is active, you can manage it through:
IDFC FIRST Bank Mobile Banking App: Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Internet Banking: Access your account via the IDFC FIRST Bank Net Banking portal.
Ensure Document Clarity: Upload clear and legible copies of your Aadhaar and PAN cards.
Stable Internet Connection: A strong connection will facilitate the Video KYC process. Only Original Pan card to be shown, photocopies of pan card or soft copies on mobile if shown will reject the application under Video KYC and applicant will then need to visit branch only.
Active Mobile Number: Ensure your mobile number is active and linked to your Aadhaar for OTP verification.
This journey is to be used when you want bank to handover you a ikit, only branch near 5 KM from resident pincode can be selected. Save the QR code in the end of application. Take a screenshot on your phone of this QR and visit branch to recieve the Debit card and cheque book kit and submit your signature sppecimen in the form inside the kit. They will then activate your account.
